Has anyone else noticed something a bit odd going on with Dorota? She hasn’t been her usual carefree self. What’s up with D? Perhaps Blair is stressed? You know what happens when our charges get in bad moods: It usually transfers to us. I hope Dorota bounces back to normal soon. Hate to see such a lovely lady in a bad state of mind. Though I do know someone who would love to cheer her up: Vanya. Come on, Dorota! Give him a chance!
Ta Ta, Upper East ServerJane has a date! The pretty redhead was recently asked out by a cater waiter. The two met at a dinner party at the Archibald townhouse. Jane was overheard saying it was love at first bite! They have a date planned for tomorrow evening. No word on what their night will consist of but I will let you know as soon as I find out of course. We’re delighted to see Jane jumping back into the dating saddle after being dumped by that cheeky salesman.

Laryssa was complaining about Rufus always being over at the van der Woodsen apartment and therefore being another person to clean up after. Jane was complaining about her love life (obviously)…Vanya at Pinkberry ordering a medium plain with strawberries, granola and mochi. We hear that’s Dorota’s frozen yogurt order as well. Hmm…
Ta Ta, Upper East ServerA little birdie told me something absolutely barmy the other day. The Williams family is still employing their nanny, Greta! This would make sense if their daughter were still a child. However, Hazel is about to graduate from the Constance Billard School for Girls. I think the girl is much too old to have someone on payroll watching her. It’s unclear as to whether or not this nanny is actually babysitting Hazel or just being support to the high school senior. Though, whatever it is it’s a bit mad. Don’t you agree?
Ta Ta, Upper East ServerWord has it the Yukis’ housekeeper, Adrienne, was recently let go due to things gone missing in the townhouse. First item they noticed nicked: Nelly Yuki’s prized violin that Itzhak Perlman gave her when she was just five years old. Other lost articles included Mrs. Yuki’s Burberry scarf, Mr. Yuki’s Cartier watch and a pair of Nelly’s Tom Ford eyeglasses. The Yukis couldn’t prove Adrienne was the culprit so no police action was taken. Instead, they told her to pack her bags and get out. I won’t speculate Adrienne’s guilt of being a filcher but will say I hope the Yukis get their stuff back ASAP. This kind of negative press always makes us all look quite unpleasant…

Mrs. Baizen is a bit of a nutter but overall totally harmless. Their son Carter is a bit dodgy. Although, he’s out of the penthouse now so it shouldn’t be so bad…

…Laryssa stocking up on cleaning supplies at Gracious Home. Must be time to tidy up Chuck’s room…Jane at the farmers market picking up fresh produce as well as flowers. She flirted with the florist. They have a date next week. This is smashing news!
Aww. Guess who just had her five-year wedding anniversary? Why none other than van der Woodsen housekeeper, Laryssa! She received the night off so she could celebrate. Laryssa and her hubby, Aleksander, dined at Marseille and then went to see Irena’s Vow (we hear dinner and theater tickets were on Lily – how charming!). So splendid to see UES help finding time for their personal life.

She was not so quietly dating an FM Allen salesman for a few weeks. We hear Jane was going around town telling people she was going to marry the bloke. Turns out, she’s not. The fellow ditched her for a hostess from The Post House. Poor Jane. Looks like this girl uses all her skills in the kitchen and not in other places…
